What a hand wax does
A hand wax is the fastest way to bring back the depth in your paint. Our crew washes the car, dries it by hand, then works Meguiar's wax over every panel by hand and buffs it off. The wax fills the microscopic texture of the clear coat, so light bounces back evenly and water beads up and rolls off instead of sitting on the paint and leaving spots.
Monthly if the car lives outside, every two to three months if it is garaged.

Four to eight weeks depending on sun, sprinklers and how often the car is washed. Members who come through the Gold tunnel wash get Simoniz hot wax on every visit, which keeps the coat topped up between hand waxes.
No. The Gold wash sprays Simoniz hot wax in the tunnel, which is a quick protective layer. A hand wax is applied and buffed by hand, panel by panel, and lasts much longer.
It hides very light swirl marks and adds gloss, but it does not remove scratches. For that, book a buff and polish or an exterior detail.
