What a carpet shampoo does
Floor carpet catches everything: mud, sand from the beach, coffee, dog hair, the wrapper you forgot about. Vacuuming pulls up the loose stuff. Our shampoo machines push cleaner down into the fibers, agitate it, then extract the dirty water back out, so the stains and the smell come out with it. Mats are done out of the car and put back once they are dry.
Twice a year, or after any spill, pet, or trip to the beach.

Slightly damp at most. Extraction pulls most of the water out, and we let the car sit with the doors open. Leave the windows cracked for the first evening if you can.
Usually, yes. Both come out when the source is cleaned out of the fibers and padding. Very old or deep stains may lighten rather than vanish, and we will tell you before we start.
Carpet shampoo covers the floor and mats. Cloth seats are a separate seat shampoo. The interior detail covers both, plus the hard surfaces.
