Stars & Stripes Carwash & Detail is a family owned car wash and detail shop on Miramar Road in San Diego, open since 2011.
Every car hand dried
Every wash ends the same way: our crew dries the car by hand before it leaves the lot. Not a blower and a wave, and not you in a parking lot with a towel. It is the one thing we will not skip, on a $13 wash or a $450 detail.
Wash, detail and hand wash
The tunnel wash is soft cloth with spot free water. The detail shop does everything from a $125 hand wax to a full showroom detail with Meguiar's products. For cars that should not go through a tunnel, our crew does a wool mitt hand wash. Members get unlimited washes from $19.99 a month on sale, no contract.
One lot, everything you need
We are at 5716 Miramar Rd, between the 805 and the 15, on the same lot as the gas station, taco shop, propane and convenience store. Vacuums are free with every wash.

We sit right along MCAS Miramar, so military get $2 off any wash and 10% off any detail with valid ID, and a free wash on Veterans Day.
